IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Marjorie Marie (Alspach) Vansice was born on Wednesday; May 14, 1924 near Collins; Story County, Iowa. She was the daughter of Henry and Zeta (Stier) Allspach. Majorie was raised in the rural Collins area and attended the Grant Country School. During her lifetime, Marjorie worked as a cleaner, a babysitter, and a homemaker. Marjorie had a green thumb and enjoyed flowers and spending time in her gardens. She also enjoyed cooking and sewing. She was a member of the Bethany United Church of Christ. Marjorie Marie (Alspach) Vansice, age 81, passed away on Thursday; July 28, 2005 in the Hospice at Skiff Medical Center in Newton; Jasper County, Iowa. Those left to mourn her passing are: her children: Doug & his wife: Dixie Dawson. Lola & her husband: Jerry Scott Stewart of Newton; Jasper County, Iowa and Mark & his wife: Karla Vansice of Baxter; Jasper County, Iowa. Her thirteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. Her brothers: Ralph & his wife: Kathryn Allspach of Baxter, Iowa and Larry & his wife: Judy Allspach of Bevier; Macon County, Missouri. Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son: Ron, her daughter: Linda and her brothers: Don, Marvin, and Howard. May they rest in peace. Visitation will be from: 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday; August 1, 2005 at the funeral home with her family present to greet friends from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday; August 2, 2005, at Bethany Cemetery in Baxter, Iowa.
