My great-grandmother was the mother of Leroy, Ronald, and James. Her name was Laura Grace Belles. She married Guy Leroy Pike in Washington, but he died in 1918 during the flu epidemic. There was also a daughter Grace (1919-1925). Laura had to send the children to live with relatives after Guy died. The family rumor is that she sent the kids to live with someone in Guy's family until she could support the kids, but whoever had the kids took off and never got in contact with her, so she never found out what happened to her children. Laura remarried in 1925 to Clair Reichenberg and raised four more children in Idaho. I know that James was adopted by his great-aunt, Mary Pike, and lived in South Dakota. If you have any information on Leroy and Ronald, my family would be very happy to know what happened to them.
