From the Brooklyn Eagle - January 3, 1896 "Joseph H Randall & Miss Adella Smith, Daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Nathaniel Smith of East Patchogue, were married at the bride's home on New Year's Day by Rev. A.E. Colton. There were about 80 guests presnt and many costly presents were received by the bride. Mr. & Mrs. Randall will reside at Oyster Bay."
