Ralph R. Gunn Jr., 77, son of Ralph R. Gunn Sr. and Verda Helmer Gunn was born April 16, 1932, near Republic. He died last Wednesday at his home in Republic.

He attended Stover school and graduated from Belleville High School in 1949. He was united in marriage to Virginia Lee Lewellyn on April 18, 1951. To this union three children were born, David, Bryan and Kathy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Verda Gunn; one brother, Charles Gunn; and one sister, Anita Gunn.

He is survived by two sons, David and Bryan Gunn, both of Fresno, Calif., one daughter, Mrs. Greg Zach (Kathy), Belleville, five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Merrill Gunn, Placerville, Calif., and Robert Gunn. Republic; and two sisters, Mrs. Darrell Birrell (Marilynn) and Mrs. Bill Smith (Constance) both of Republic.

Services wee held Monday at Bachelor-Surber Memorial Chapel, Belleville. The Rev. Elton Hunter officiated. Interment was made in Rosemound Cemetery.
