Clara Belle Kier, of Gettysburg, entered into Heavenly rest January 26.

She was the daughter of the late Samuel and Edna Belle Dean Nicholls.

Mrs. Kier was a member of the First Baptist Church, Gettysburg. She was a life member of the VFW Auxiliary, Spring Hill, Fla. and the National Association of Retired Veteran Railroad Employees.

She was the wife of George David Kier Sr. for 66 years and surviving, in addition to him, are one daughter, Noreen K. Acheson of Fairfield; one son, George D. Kier Jr. of Lewisville, Texas; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
