Bernadette Joanna, 67, formerly of Brownstown died November 2, 2011, at Cambria Care Center. Born June 12, 1944, in Johnstown daughter of Alfred G., and Joanna M. (Born) Bremer.

Preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Ray A., and Louis E. Bremer. She is survived by her children: Melissa Kier, Winterville, NC; Matthew Kier, Columbia, SC; and Jeffrey (Kim) Kier, Pittsburgh; grandchildren: Chaz Robinson, Stephen Kathman, Jr; Patrick Kier; Nicolette Kier; Ashley Kier; and Isabella, Bradley, and Olivia Kier. Sister of: Eileen F. Bremer, Kealakekua, HI; Marian D. Shorts, Hollsopple; Teresa R. Dengler, Baltimore, MD; William T. Bremer, Johnstown; and Marie C. Gordon, Petaluma, CA. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Bernadette was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, Brownstown where she was a CCD Teacher and Eucharistic Minister.

Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home, Inc. 710 Broad St. where vigil for the deceased will be held. Funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. Monday at St. Michael Church, Franciscan Friars OFM Conv. Committal will take place at Grandview Cemetery.
