Funeral Services For Mrs. LaForge Funeral services were conducted Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Lowry chapel for Mrs. Amy Pettit LaForge, 64, who died last Thursday following a long illness. Rev. H. S. Tool officiated. Music was provided by Mrs. Ted C. Busha, accompanied by Mrs. Mervin Bell. Pallbearers were Lawrence Peterson, Ralph Ryan, Edward Hanson, Arnold Johnson, Anton Tronrad and Chris Albertson. Interment was in Mountain View. Mrs. LaForge was born Aug. 11, 1881, in Sandsbury (sic), Mo., and was married to Alvin LaForge March 13, 1918, at Columbus. They came to Sweet Grass county in 1922, homesteading in Glasston and then moving to Melville where Mr. LaForge worked on ranches for a number of years. He died Nov. 30, 1944, shortly after they moved to Big Timber.
