Obituary:
In the Eleventh Month 1950 issue of The Olney Current we find this account: "George A Emmons of Robins, Ia., died suddenly while attending Iowa Yearly Meeting at West Branch, 8-21-1950. He was born 10-11-1875. Survivors are his wife Sara; three sons: Harold of Cedar Rapids, and Allen of Robins, Ia.; Burton of Long Beach, Calif.; one daughter: Dorlis VanNote of Marion, Ia. Also twelve grandchildren and three great grandchildren."
