Married: William Henry Pollard April 3, 1903 in Whittier Meeting, Linn County, Iowa.

Obituary:
In the Eleventh Month 1952 issue of The Olney Current we find this account: "Emma L. Pollard passed away 8-19-1952 after an illness of about a month. The daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth Emmons Heald, born 5-20-1874, she spent most of her early life in Iowa. She attended the first term of school at Scattergood Seminary and later taught at Tunnesassa Indian School. She marriend William Henry Pollard '97, Westtown '00, 4-3-1903. They lived for a time in Colorado and in Canada. Since 1916 they lived near Damascus, O. Besides her husband, she is survived by six daughters, Alice Lewis '23, Lake City, Mich., Martha Merriman '26, Kensington, O., Dorothy Carnahan '28, Cherry Creek, N. Y., Edith Yeager '31, 3023 Baltz St., Philadelphia, Pa., Ellen Kunz '33, 840 Campbell St., Prescott, Ariz. and Rachel Warrington '35, Salem, Ohio."
