Oibtuary:
DIED.-- After three hours sickness at her home in Whittier, Iowa, DELITHA EMMONS, widow of Micajah, in the seventy-fourth year of her age. She was a much beloved member and elder of Springville Monthly Meeting and Particular Meeting of Friends, and deeply concerned for the welfare of our beloved Society, and often lamenting at the deficiencies amongst us. Although removed so suddenly and unexpectedly, we trust through mercy she has been safely gathered "where the wicked cease from troubling and the weary are at rest." And this language seems applicable to us who are left, "Be ye also ready for in such an hour as ye think not, the Son of Man cometh." (The Friend, 1906, vol. lxxx, p. 152)
