The family ends up in Oyster Bay Town. Before that they seem to be connected with the Dutch Reformed Church in Jamaica, Long Island, New York. Did they live in Jamaica ? or just go to church there ? Who knows ? Some of Willem's sons moved to Westchester County in the 1740's/1750's and from them we get the Van Valzah, Velzy, and Velsey lines in Saratoga County, New York, in central Pennsylvania, & other areas.
