1/28/1965 Harold Van Sise, 60, who died of a heart attack Jan. 17, was buried Jan. 20 in Huntington Rural Cemetery. He lived at 330 South Woods Rd., Woodbury, and owned and operated the Van Sise Farms in Syosset, at one time the biggest farm in Nassau County. In recent years, he operated a farm market stand on Jericho Tpke, and a 400 acre farm in Mt. Sinai. A past president of the Nassau Agricultural Society, he served as its director for 28 years. He was also a past president of the Long Island Beagle Club and a member of the Nassau Land-Soil Conservation Committee. Mr. Van Sise was a past member of the Syosset Board of Education and a charter member of the Woodbury Company of the Syosset Fire Department. Survivors include his wife, Gladys; two daughter, Mrs. Edna Jorgensen, of Huntington and Mrs. Cynthia Hicks of Scotia, N.Y. and a son, Harold, of Mt. Sinai.
