Education: Graduated from Williams College in 1878, from Auburn Theo. Seminary in 1881.
Occupation: ordained at Pottstown, Pennsylvania., Nov 7th, 1881*, where he was pastor till March 1st, 1887; after was pastor of 1st Presbyterian Church of Geneva, New York; pastor in Wolcott, New York. *Another source shows has him ordained November 9, 1881 at Wolcott, Wayne, New York.

Passes Away at Auburn

Auburn, Apr. 8, After a long illness, Rev. Halsey B. Stevenson of 13 Lawton Ave. died early this morning. Funeral services will be held at Willard Memorial Chapel Wednesday afternoon. Interment will be made at Cayuga.

Dr. Stevenson was born in Montezuma Feb. 4, 1854. In his youth, he was quite sickly which interrupted his school work to a considerable extent. After graduating from the Auburn High School, he entered Williams College from which he graduated in 1878. He was pastor of Calvery Presbyterian Church in this city and also held pastorates in Wolcott, Geneva and Pottsville, Pa. Since 1893 he was assistant in Hebrew at the Theological Seminary.
