Buried: Home of Peace Memorial Park, East Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, California.

There are probably very few members of the family that will remember Reda Amira. She was the first born of Sarah Matza Amira and Harry Amira and was born several months premature, she was only two days old when she died. She was given a name and was buried in the same cemetary as many of our relatives. Sarah was pregnant two more times, both resulting in miscarriages, before she and Harry proudly became the parents of Genette, Rhonda, and Marlene. I mention Reba here in the family tree because she was mentioned several times throughout the years by my parents, her gravesite was visited by the entire family and on the date of her 50th birthday, Harry and Sarah placed a more permanent bronze marker at her gravesite. She was never forgotten as the first born child of Harry and Sarah. Genette, however, is known to all of us as our oldest sister, their oldest daughter, and holds that place of honor.
