Uncle Norman and Aunt Laura (Sirota) Lerner....

In December 1917 our Bubby was forty-two years old when she gave birth to Uncle Norman, the youngest of the seven uncles, with a difference of eighteen years between him and the oldest brother, Uncle Joe. He was three years old when Bubby and the boys came to Los Angeles to join Zadeh, Uncle Joe and Uncle Moe.

Uncle Norm married Aunt Laura, the youngest child of Uncle David and Aunt Manya Sirota of Montreal, in 1943 while he was stationer in the Army in North Carolina. After World War II ended, Uncle Norman and Aunt Laura returned to Los Angeles in 1946 (shortly after Frankie's Bar Mitzvah) to set up housekeeping and start their family. The following year the second set of family twins and next to youngest cousins, Ricki and Henry, were born.
