THOMAS D. ALMES, husband of Lillie B. Lambing Almes, of Saltsburg, died in the home of his daughter, Mrs. Clair Ashbaugh, in Mercer. The deceased and wife had been visiting in the Ashbaugh home for the past six weeks. He was born June 10th, 1865, in Maysville and was a son of Henry and Frances (Keir) Almes. He is survived by his wife and four sons: Harry, of Greensburg; Lawrence J., Pittsburgh, Stanley K., Saltsburg, and Steele, of Vandergrift, and one daughter. Mrs. Clair Ashbaugh; Seven grandchildren and one brother, Frank Almes, of Maysville, and one sister, Mrs. John Swinger, of Apollo, also survive. Friends are being received in the Robinson Funeral Home, Saltsburg. where .services will be conducted at 4 p.m. Reverend George C. Vetter will officiate. Interment in Saltsburg cemetery.
