KING CITY, Mo. — Thelma M. Culver, 95, King City, formerly of Greeley, Colo., passed away Sunday, October 3, 2010, at the King City Manor.

She was born September 17, 1915, in King City, Mo., the daughter of Henry and Iva (Kier) Cook.

She was a 1933 graduate of King City High School and moved to Greeley in 1961 and worked 20 years at the North Colorado Medical Center. She loved her job, especially working in the emergency room. She was a member of the Milliken Presbyterian Church and the Senior Center of Milliken.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Lorene Johnson; brother, Leonard Cook; daughter, Carol Askins; and a granddaughter, Kelly Askins.

Survivors include a son, Gary (Beverly) Culver, King City, Mo.; daughter, Connie Dilka, Greeley, Colo.; grandchildren: Cory (Kristen) Culver, Virginia; Troy (Sonia) Culver, Iowa; Ashley (Tim) Zinkus, Kansas City, Mo.; Scott Dilka, Greeley, Colo.; Karmen (Floyd) Ross, Independence, Mo.; Kyle (Teresa) Askins, King City, Mo.; Kris (Joe) Adolf, Kersy, Colo.; and Kent Askins, Kansas City, Mo.; 13 great-grandchildren, Ericka Fresquez, Tressa Adolf, Paul Durbin, Seth Durbin, Dana Askins, Jaimee Askins, Kalynn Culver, Ryann Culver, Jackson Culver, Savanna Culver, Trevor Zinkus, Sidney Zinkus, and Jacob Zinkus; great-great-grandchildren, Briella Nava and an expected baby girl at Thanksgiving.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 9, at the Milliken Presbyterian Church, Milliken, Colo. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Greeley, Colo. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Roberson Funeral Home, King City, Mo., and 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, October 8, at Stoddard Funeral Home, Greeley, Colo.
