Died: April 12, 2012 in Douglas, Converse County, Wyoming.
Buried: Lusk Cemetery, Lusk, Niobrara County, Wyoming.
Married: Wayne Arthur Tollman November 18, 1948 in Lusk, Niobrara County, Wyoming.
Geraldine "Gerry" Tollman, age 82 of Lusk passed away on April 12, 2012 at the Memorial Hospital of Converse County in Douglas, Wyo. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2012, 10 a.m., at the Pier Funeral Home in Lusk. Pastor Tom Strock, of First Baptist Church in Lusk will conduct the service. Interment will follow in the Lusk Cemetery.
Geraldine was born Feb. 28, 1930 In Whitman, Wyo., to Ralph and Frances Van Blarcum Berg. The family moved to Lusk where she attended and graduated form Lusk High School.
On Nov. 18, 1948 she married Arthur Wayne Tollman in Lusk and continued to live in Lusk.
Gerry worked at Safeway and owned the Dairy Bar for five years, after which she worked at the Library for 19 years.She was a member of the Lusk Drove # 64 Benevolent, Patriotic Order of Does for 58 years. She was past President of the Drove and member of Grand Lodge and became a life member in 2005. She was also a member of the First Baptist Church in Lusk.
Gerry enjoyed playing bingo, playing cards and spending time at the senior center.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Wayne, two sisters; Jean and Clarabelle, one brother; Owen (Sonny), and one great grand child.
She is survived by her children, Cheri Christiansen of Fremont, Neb., Becky (Roger) Watson of Elgin, ND, Trenda Kirby, Riesel, Texas, Pam Jansen of Laramie, Wyo. and Randy (Irene) of Evans, Colo., one brother ,Gordon (Betty) Berg of Lusk and one sister Violet Carnes of Lemon Grove, Calif.
A memorial has been established to the Niobrara County Library in Lusk, Wyoming.
