KIER, Mrs Elizabeth A - - died 27 Nov 1914 at the home of her daughter, Mrs A G Peyton in Gentry Co, aged 88. She was born in Fayette Co, PA, 27 Feb 1827 as Elizabeth A DARBY, a daughter of William & Elizabeth Darby. Moved to Homes Co, OH with her parents as a small girl & to Gentry Co in 1844. She married Andrew Kier, 9 Dec 1853, & he died 5 years ago. Six boys & 2 girls were born & all living. William D; Mrs May PEYTON; J W, all of Gentry Co, MO; Mrs Mattie GIBSON, Union Star, MO; James M & J E, Kansas City; Thomas L, Mt Ayr, IA & Grant, San Francisco, Ca. Burial in New Friendship Church cemetery.
