Holocaust Survivor.
Son of Josef and Celiene Gousfesman (sp?) Stripounsky.
Born: August 26, 1893 in Podbrodse, Poland.
Died: March 20, 1964 in Cherry Hill, Camden County, New Jersey.
Immigration: May 28, 1941 - Lisbon, Portugal to New York, New York.
Married: (1) Rosa Ester Mac October 21, 1923 in Ville d'Anvers, Antwerp, Belgium.
(2) Regina Gunzig march 25, 1935 in Anvers, Antwerp, Belgium.

Per papers given to USHMM: Joseph and his parents Menachem Nathan and Regina Stripounsky, and brother Astriel fled Antwerp, Belgium, in May 1940 for France. A year later, they received American visas, and travelling via Spain and Portugal, left for New York in May 1941.

NOTE: Joseph Strip's obituary lists Eugene and Robert Sochor as brothers. They were the children of Regina's sister Sabina. He and Regina must have taken them in after the war.
